This exceptional wooden sculpture depicts Prajñāpāramitā, the Goddess of Transcendent Wisdom, revered as the mother of all Buddhas.
She personifies prajñā — the perfect insight that perceives reality beyond illusion.

Seated in meditation, she appears with four arms, expressing the harmony of compassion, diligence, equanimity, and wisdom.
One hand holds a rosary (mālā), symbolizing the continuity of enlightened recitation; another holds the manuscript of the Prajñāpāramitā Sūtra, source of supreme knowledge.
The remaining hands form gestures of teaching and calm assurance, radiating serenity and strength.

Above her head sits a small Buddha, representing the awakened mind from which wisdom emanates.
On either side, two graceful Nāgakanyā rise in devotion, while two Makaras emerge at the sides, their sinuous forms guarding the goddess and linking the realms of water and earth.

Each detail is finely hand-carved in magnolia champaca wood, polished to reveal its natural warmth and soft golden tone.
