This finely cast gilt copper alloy sculpture, gilded with 24 karat gold, represents Vasudhara (Basundhara), the Buddhist goddess of wealth, prosperity, and abundance, here depicted in her six-armed form.
Seated in a graceful posture, she holds various attributes symbolizing generosity, fertility, and spiritual as well as material wealth. The vase held in her central hands represents inexhaustible abundance, while the rosary and other ritual implements evoke both merit and continuous blessing.
She is richly adorned with an elaborate crown, intricate jewelry, and finely detailed ornaments, reflecting her status as a deity of prosperity. The harmonious proportions and elegant modeling give the figure a refined and balanced presence.
The surface retains a beautiful warm gilding, with areas of natural wear revealing the copper beneath, enhancing depth and visual character. The subtle patina contributes to the antique-style appearance of the sculpture.
