This finely cast gilt copper alloy sculpture, gilded with 24 karat gold, represents Green Tara, one of the most beloved female Bodhisattvas in Buddhism, revered as the embodiment of compassion in swift and active form.

Seated in a graceful posture of royal ease, Green Tara is shown ready to rise and respond to the needs of beings, symbolizing her immediate compassion and protective power. Her right hand extends in a gesture of generosity, while her left is raised in a gesture of refuge and blessing. The lotus stems rising beside her shoulders evoke purity, spiritual awakening, and her connection to enlightened activity.

She is richly adorned with an elaborate crown, finely detailed jewelry, and delicate ornaments that emphasize her divine beauty and spiritual nobility. The harmonious proportions and elegant modeling give the figure a refined and balanced presence.
