This finely cast gilt copper alloy sculpture, gilded with 24 karat gold, represents a Bodhisattva, a central figure in Buddhism embodying compassion and wisdom, depicted here in a relaxed and graceful seated posture.
The right hand rests gently across the body, while the left supports the figure in a natural gesture, conveying both ease and inner stability. The lotus rising behind the shoulder symbolizes purity and spiritual awakening.
The Bodhisattva is richly adorned with an elaborate crown, inlaid with colored stones, as well as finely detailed jewelry and ornaments that emphasize his elevated spiritual status. The harmonious proportions and refined modeling give the figure a balanced and elegant presence.
